BDBA has a comprehensive approach to support player improvement. Please speak to the District Coach.  Read the attached Training Manual to get some good ideas about improving your bowls.

The drills attached below named BDBA Drills V1.2 are specifically for Districts Players to complete in line with the coaches instructions.

STEPS TO ACCREDITATION AS AN INTRODUCTORY OR CLUB COACH

  1. Contact the Brisbane District Coaching Committee (BDCC) on bdbacoachcom@gmail.com to indicate your interest.
  2. BDCC will arrange a mentoring programme.
  3. Download the Introductory or Club Coach course booking form from the coaching page on BQ website (http://bowlsqld.org/Coaching.aspx) and send to Bowls Queensland.
  4. Dates of available courses are published on the BQ Coaching page. http://bowlsqld.org/Coaching.aspx
  5. Attend Introductory or Club Coach programme.
  6. BDCC will coordinate Accreditation Assessment with a National Assessor.
